Aaron Scheidies – Considered to be the fastest paratriathlete and marathoner in the world, Scheidies is a seven-time World and eight-time National Triathlon Champion.
Scheidies has less than 20% vision caused by Juvenile Macular Degeneration. Having traveled around the globe competing in over 200 triathlons, this multi-dimensional athlete, was inducted into the Athletes with Disability Hall of Fame and in 2008 completed his PHD in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington.
Aaron has spoken to the Young Presidents Organization, motivated Janus financial executives, represented US Paralympic hopefuls for the NYC 2012 Olympic bid and spoke to NASA employees. A 2011 ESPY finalist for Best Athlete with a Disability, He also received the Michigan State University Distinguished Young Alumni Award.
